Dr. Elizabeth Potvin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Pre-Medicine from the College of the Holy Cross, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University. She completed clinical rotations with emphasis on ocular disease and pediatric eyecare at multiple locations throughout New England. Prior to coming to Ridgefield, she spent five years specializing in myopia control and vision therapy at a private practice in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Dr. Potvin has been an active member of the American Optometric Association. As a prior member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, she received the Mass Vision Foundation Award, recognizing optometric leadership in the commonwealth. She is also a member of the Connecticut Association of Optometrists and the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Potvin enjoys helping patients of all ages and has a passion for pediatrics. She is proud to have had many successful vision therapy patients. She remains current in pediatric research as a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Her personal interests include running, reading, and spending time with family.
